About the Item
A beautiful hand painted Chinese folding coffee table, circa 1960s. Features a hardwood frame with black lacquer finish decorated with soapstone figures and mother of pearl inlay. The table features a rectangular form with inset top showcasing a painted scene with soapstone geisha figures around a table. The top is protected by a glass top and the apron is decorated with a Greek Key and floral design. When not in use the legs fold up, allowing the piece to be stowed away in a closet.
