Vintage Mid 20h Century Weathered Oak rustic Coffee Table with two Drawers

About the Item

This is a timeless vintage coffee table, traditionally crafted from reclaimed oak wood dating back to the 1960s. This rustic piece was built by the esteemed Piet Rombouts & Sons furniture workshop, a legacy proudly continued by our family. The wood was sourced from very old German half-timbered houses and shows a remarkable grain pattern and worn surface. The wood was brought to the workshop in Zeelst, the Netherlands, and the most beautiful furniture was composed of this wood. Boasting a clean, classic design with slightly tapered legs and two drawers with recessed panels surrounded by a mold, this coffee table exemplifies traditional craftsmanship. The whole piece was gently stripped from its lacquer and stain and now shows the bare naturally stripped weather oakwood. The coffee table was gently cleaned and is solid and ready for use.
