Danish Mid-2th Century Dining or Conference Table



A danish mid-20th century dining or conference table in rich grained rosewood. The Table features and oval-shaped top with two extensions leaves; raised on a pedestal base designed with six supports extending from floor-to-top of table in beautifully matched grained Rosewood panels to compliment the Classic refined and simplistic but dramatic design by the Japanese designer, Kazauhide Takahama. Kazauhide Takahama (1930/2010) studies architecture in Tokyo Institute of technology. In 1957 he began designing furniture and lightening and produced work for Knoll, Gavina, and B&B Italia. His designs are Stark and modern, but with a Japanese appreciation for natural materials and aesthetics. Dimensions without extension leaves: length 70”, height 29 ½”, width 45” Dimensions with extension leaves: length: 110”, height: 29 ½”, width 45”.
