18th Century Baroque Refectory Library Table, Denmark

About the Item

This handsome baroque library table has one drawer, heavily turned legs and solid base which is ready for display, baskets, and more. The aged pine reveals nicks, gouges, stains, dried old wormholes and old cracks that reflect generations of use. The base was originally painted brick red, now faded and distressed with over 250 years of use. While the turned legs show old cracks, they are strong and stable. Restored, this table is strong and ready for use. Buyer may choose to raise it to make a special kitchen island. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed. All scratches, cracks, dings, stains, and age related separation (see top and base) are reflective of age and do not detract from the appeal nor function of this 6.25' long console table. With over 37 years of experience selling European antiques, our brick-and-mortar storefront, Round Top Ranch Antiques (located in Texas) offers one of the largest curated selections in the nation with over thirty-five thousand square feet of inventory to choose from. We look forward to helping you find the perfect addition to your home or workspace. Thank you for visiting our online store!
