About the Item

Add an elegant focal point to your hallway or den with this antique carved console table. Crafted in southwest Italy, circa 1760, and built in walnut, the large trestle table stands on hand carved scrolled ox yoke supports, and joined at the legs with a forged iron stretcher connecting to the top. The long table surface is built with two planks of walnut. From the structure to the finish, the important Baroque style farm table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a stylish, rich walnut patina with exquisite natural distress. Versatile, the table could also be used as a writing desk in a study or as a dinning table for your breakfast room Measures: 76" W x 27.5" D x 31" H.
