1950's restored Balcony Rail Console Table and Italian white Dolomite Marble top
About the Item
This stunning Console Table is made of an Original 1950's wrought iron balcony rail that has had its fixing forks carefully cut off to make it smooth ended and perfect to fit against a wall.
The wrought iron metal work has been lovingly cleaned and very carefully realigned so that the curls are all evenly spaced. The wrought iron has been treated with anti rust/ corrosion paint and then very carefully powder coated in a very smart antique white finish to compliment the top
I had the top cut and hand polished from 2cm thick, finest Italian white Dolomite Marble with its characteristic lilac grey veins running on the diagonal predominantly to one side so as not to over take the piece but add a hint of depth to the right hand end of the table
A truly unique piece with history and character to grace any room and also works perfectly as a radiator cover. If you have any additional question or wish to see more detail images please just ask
