About the Item
The deep patina of the aged oak wood draws one to this handsome refectory or library table from France.
The carved, turned legs and stretcher base add to the visual appeal.
There are two carved panel drawers that add a dramatic element to this console table that is over 7' long.
Note in close up photos of the top the old repairs, cracks, nicks, stains, distress to finish that all add to the character of this library table that is over 150 years old.
Restored, strong and stable. The scratches, dings, stains and signs of wear (including stretcher where feet often rested) reflect generations of use.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
