Beautiful antique French Napoleon III console table.
The table has beautiful carvings and is gilded with gold leaf.
The marble top has a profiled edge and curved shapes. This is Carrara marble, a very white type of marble.
The wooden base has an antique label from the maker of this piece of furniture. That is 'Maison Janiaud Jeune'. This is a leading furniture workshop from the French Belle Epoque period, located in Paris.
The console table is in a good and solid condition with some old repairs / re-gilding. See condition report.
