19th Century Italian Rococo Style Painted and Parcel Gilt Console Table
About the Item
An elegant 19th century Italian Rococo style hand carved polychrome painted and parcel giltwood console table, circa 1850s. Handcrafted in Tuscany, this beautiful antique wall console features a serpentine top with beveled edge above a frieze carved with foliate designs and centered by a stylized palmette. Raised on graceful cabriole legs adorned with carved acanthus leaves at the knees and ending in whorl feet with acanthus leaves.
