About the Item

An English carved oak wood table, with expandable top, from the early 20th century. This antique table from England features a rectangular-shaped top (with two leaves tucked beneath which can be pulled out for a larger surface area when needed), atop an apron which has nicely carved trim accents and wonderful carved-arm brackets at either far side offering additional support beneath the top. The table is presented upon four turned legs, braced with an H-stretcher just above their block style feet. The oak finish is complimented with a custom wash of gray which highlights the various trimmings. Measurements noted are with top fully expanded, with leaves both in, top measures 52"W x 22"D. The leg clearance with top expanded is approximately 28.25" between the underside of top and floor. This early 20th century English oak table, with its ability to function as both a console or smaller dining, games, or occasional table, is a real problem solver for many areas within your home!
