- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: Professional welding to repurpose the railing into a table base. The shellstone top is not original. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. Good condition. Wear commensurate to and use with minor rubs and buildup to iron. Acceptable paint losses have led to an oxidized patina in some areas. Weld marks where frontage was attached to modern bars. For safety, affix console to a wall.

Topped by a beautiful striated Flandres Rouge marble, this giltwood console from circa 1860 was hand-carved with Louis XVI style motifs. The one inch thick red, pink, beige, brown, and gray marble has a chamfered edge. It has been carved with two rectangular protrusions that align with the fluted legs below.
