About the Item

A large Chinese elmwood altar console table from the early 20th century, with carved dragons and everted flanges. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this altar console table features a long rectangular top flanked with everted flanges, sitting above an apron carved with dragon motifs. Raised on four straight legs connected to one another through pierced stretchers on both sides, the console boasts a brown patina. With its elegant lines and skillfully carved décor, this early 20th century Chinese elmwood console table will make for a great addition to any living room or foyer!
