About the Item

Console sculpturale en bois de Guasti Marcello avec un plateau de méthacrylate, années 1980. Signature de l'artiste gravée dans le bois. Ce meuble en noyer a un design très sculptural, avec des lignes arrondies et des découpes qui lui donnent une esthétique organique. Condition : Très bon état. Comporte néanmoins d'infimes rayures sur le bois. Marcello Guasti (1924-2019) était un sculpteur, peintre et graveur italien, reconnu pour son style distinctif et son exploration de la matière et de la texture. Né à Florence, Guasti a commencé sa carrière dans un contexte artistique florentin riche, influencé par les paysages toscans et les traditions locales, tout en étant sensible aux courants modernes de l’art italien de l'après-guerre. Ses sculptures, en particulier, se caractérisent par une approche texturale marquée, utilisant souvent le bronze et le bois.
