Exceptional 18thc Painted and Gilded Roman Console

About the Item

I present a fantastic 18th century painted and gilded Roman Console with a rare Italian marble top. This marble is no longer mined but it is in the family of Il Marmo Rosso Agadir.This console shows the finest 18thc carved wood elements with parcel gilt and painted surfaces. The fluted legs are definitely in the Louis XVI style and easily carry the exceptional large slab of marble. The colors are exuberant and would definitely be a statement piece in any decor and in any room in the house
