Forged Stainless Steel Console Table by Curtis Norton
About the Item
This modern console table by Curtis Norton is made from welded and polished stainless steel and has a 1/2" tempered glass top. A lot of design work went into the fabrication of this table involving complicated patterns for the various components of the table. The patterns are transferred to a sheet of stainless steel and then the pieces are cut out and formed. The pieces are then tack welded together and the seams are welded various times to form a sharp-looking edge. The table will then go through various sanding and polishing operations to achieve the final look, resulting in many hours of labor. This table is truly a functional piece of sculpture.
