About the Item

A handsome, French Art Deco console table with a lyre, U-shaped base. The dominant wood is solid teak, with ebonized borders around the apron and the base; and a combination of ebonized teak and light spruce at the top of the base. Refinished. Great to use in a dining room, behind the sofa or an entryway. Could even double as a desk. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of vintage antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. An affinity for the sea, spirit of adventure, a discerning eye and a belief in keeping life interesting, informs her style and therefore the collection. The antique and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts and Maritime Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized.
