A Rare and Elegant French Mid-Century console /sofa table / credenza by Jacques Quinet in the Modern Neoclassical spirit with double drawers in patinated and laminated wood set on a delicate cross form patinated iron base. The console / chest is architecturally pleasing as it sits on its base and intriguing with its beautiful patinated laminate top. Large Elegant French Mid-Century Modern Cross-Form Console / sofa table, in the style of Jacques Quinet, with a sober, modern sensibility in hand wrought iron that has been hand gilt. The cross form console is composed of two intersecting perpendicular rectangular frames which support a top of raw travertine. All Joints are welded in a seamless manner that convey simplicity, purity and unity and make this piece a minimalist work of art.
