French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical Leather Console after Jean-Michel Frank

About the Item

A Rare and Exquisite French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical console / sofa table or secretary in the style of Jean-Michel Frank. Elegant form and luxurious materials combine to create an enduring masterpiece of design. A balanced form draws the eye in. A level of 3 drawers is set above a level of 2 drawers using asymmetry to create symmetry. The hardwood piece is stained dark burgundy and covered in dark burgundy leather. The top and 5 drawers are covered with leather including leather covered drawer pulls; the rest is stained to match. The combination of its sleek form and delicate materials make this a modern classic and an heirloom piece.
