Elegant modern craftsman console / sofa table in hand-hammered iron in the manner of Diego Giacometti. The piece has a brutalist, yet refined sensibility with its flared sabots, neoclassical X-frame stretcher, parallel cross-bracing and hammered finials Each piece of the frame is hand hammered and the top is composed of Travertine. Literature: For similar models see Diego Giacometti, by Daniel Marchesesseau, Hermann, Paris, 1986, p. 103 and p.150. Custom sizes are available. The last photo shows a model that is 60" long.
