About the Item
he Stratus Console Table pushes the boundaries of the studio’s signature aesthetic with sculptural forms, graphic playfulness and meticulous craftsmanship. Designed to fit perfectly in the entrance hall or to make even the drabbest of corners the most interesting nook in the home.
Hand forged patinated bronze table top and solid bronze frame with sand cast pebble bronze feet and suspended earthenware ceramic spheres. All made by hand in London.
The Ceramic spheres are threaded onto the metal frame and held in place with bronze washers to give the appearance that they are floating. All ceramic pieces are hand-built using a slab building technique in a mix of coloured clay and finished with a high gloss transparent glaze to show the unique and distinctive pattern beneath.
The nature of our making process means that every piece of ceramic is unique and designs, colours, the contrast of tones and patterns may vary.

Henry Holland Studio
Henry Holland Studio is a collection of hand built ceramics and homeware projects from designer Henry Holland. The former Creative Director of fashion label House of Holland, Henry first discovered a love of ceramics during the pandemic. Intended as a creative outlet, as he took a break from fashion, he stumbled across his interpretation of the nerikomi technique, while sat at his kitchen table during lockdown, when government restrictions meant he was no longer able to attend lessons at his local Hackney pottery studio. Henry quickly fell in love with the meditative process of building each piece by hand, which provided a new, and welcome pace of working, following years spent in the frenetic world of fashion. The slow technique of stacking, folding and rolling coloured clay into slabs, then hand moulding them into functional shapes, means that each piece is organic in nature, and impossible to recreate exactly. Each object is unique with the combined colour combinations of the different earthenware clays, creating Henry’s signature colour combinations and patterns. “It is a privilege to design beautiful things that people are willing to live with, says Henry. “To contribute to someone’s personal environment in this way, to be treasured, and to build treasured things, that’s the kind of connection we are all looking for.”
The studio has now worked on a range of homeware projects and launches including textiles, glassware, lighting and furniture.

About Costantini design
Costantini is a furniture design and manufacturing company founded in 2002 by artist and designer William C Stuart. The name Costantini comes from his maternal grandfather, a first generation Italian-American. Born in New York City and raised upstate, William majored in studio art at Colgate University with a year abroad in Paris, graduating with honors. In 2001, he traveled to Buenos Aires and fell in love with the culture and craftsmanship instantly. He designed his first collection soon after and opened an art and design gallery in Los Angeles. A decade later, he came home to New York and now has a studio in the famed West Chelsea Arts Building where his works blur the lines between art and functional design. The team of artisans continue to produce the majority of the furniture in Argentina. Aside from private collections, some notable public projects include the Hotel Bel Air...
