About the Item
An Italian carved-wood half column demi-lune painted console table. This vintage wall console from Italy features a half-round shaped (demi) top, with thick and clean apron, above a curvaceous halved-column style body, with reeded carvings and acanthus leaves wrapping its lower region. The column has rounded molding at bottom, and raised upon a rectangular wooden base. This pedestal is hallow, with flat back-side making it ideal to be placed against a wall. The primary color palette is dark green with beige/taupe, blue and subtle hints of gold. This Italian demi-console will make an attractive statement on a foyer or living room wall; perhaps adorned with some wonderful art or bouquet of flowers atop.
