MCM Brass and Glass Console Table
About the Item
Handsome, versatile brass and glass console table! It's vintage 1960's from France...
With a beautiful antique brass patina, I love some of the design details that reflect the refined French design-eye for detail. You won't easily find a piece like this -- Notice the brass 'coining' at the corners of the tabletop. Lovely touch! Also notice the gracefully beveled brass table top that cascades down to the glass inset top. I love that! There is one glass-top -- though the base could be fitted with a second glass shelf, if desired. This piece is multi-functional and adaptive to different interior vernaculars, from traditional to modern.
It's in remarkably good condition, with just a bit of age-related surface marks and residual brass polish (which will come off) noted in the photos above.
