About the Item
Lovely Hollywood Regency style brass and burl wood console attributed to Mastercraft. It has a burl wood top and apron that have a lovely brass detail around all the arched edges. It sits on eight brass legs with brass supports between the legs. There is no label. The original owner said she purchased it from the Baker showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
There is one small indentation on a brass support (see close up image). There is patina to the brass (could be polished if you prefer a glossy bright brass finish). There are some imperfections to the finish on the top go the table (see close ups). I've done a fair amount of research but I can't find an exact match to this piece anywhere (so chances are you won't see another anytime soon - perhaps it was a limited production item).
