Modernist Oak Console Table
About the Item
Modernist oak console table designed and produced in England using traditional furniture making techniques. Completely handcrafted from the finest fully quarter-sawn English oak. Hand dovetailed joints to the main oak box and all inner drawer parts. This table is fixed to the wall via screw holes hidden away behind the drawers. A rock solid and striking piece of modernist furniture that is built to last. Handmade Leather finger pulls.
Finished in natural oils.
Legs simply dismantle/assemble for extra safe transportation.
We are also able to produce this piece in American Black Walnut - Please enquire for more details and quotations.

These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
