Pair of Hand-Carved Louis XVI Style Giltwood Consoles by La Maison London
About the Item
A superb example of craftsmanship, this pair of Louis XVI style consoles has been beautifully hand-carved by master artisans at La Maison London. Each console features refined neoclassical detailing, with festoons of floral garlands sweeping across the front and meeting at a central disk, where a finely carved dolphin motif adds a distinctive touch.
The stretcher base is adorned with an outstanding hand-carved cluster of flowers and leaves, each element individually sculpted with precision and care.
Finished in a hand-applied 23.75-karat water-gilded patina, the consoles are topped with a luxurious 30mm beveled slab of Crema Marfil marble.
