Regency Rosewood Console Fold Over Games Card Table Circa 1820 (Georgian)
About the Item
"A Regency period, rosewood console / fold-over games or card table, Circa 1820. This quality original table features an attractively rosewood veneered top with rounded front corners and square edge. The top folds out to reveal a squared top with rounded corners with original tooled border green baize. Raised on a baluster stem, with with quadrite base on scroll carved feet, with hidden brass castors.
An attractive and mostly original high quality table. Well presented, in good original type condition. Cleaned and wax polished, and very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 76 cm (30"") tall, 91 cm (35.75"") wide, 45 cm (17.75"") deep unfolded, and 90.5 cm (35.5"") folded out across the top.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in a good and mostly original condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. All original including the green baize and the brass castors, other than a few small veneer repairs to the the base. Some marks and blemishes, in keeping with age and use, including some marks in the original polish. No loose joints. Attractive original colour, with pleasing original patina throughout. Sensitively cleaned and waxed, and now very much ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc."
