Paris Console 2 Brazilian agate is revered around the world for its clarity and color. In Studio Greytak’s Paris Console 2 a bookended pair of icy blue agates are set atop a mirror finish of polished bronze like summer clouds floating above a clear glacial lake. Fiery bronze frames the agates and connects them to a swirling cabinet of walnut burl. Inside, rich leather lines two thin drawers that mirror the paired slices of stone featured above. When lava reaches Earth’s surface, it bubbles as it cools forming pockets of air.
