Wicker and Rattan Elephant Console Table, 1970s USA
About the Item
Stunning, unique wicker and rattan console table. Features two mirrored elephant faces on each end, giving this piece a pleasing symmetrical silhouette. Removable Formica top, perfect for serving. Lovely details and craftsmanship, with meticulous attention paid to the eye inclusions, the slight bend of their trunks, and their tusks. One front of the table features a subtle panel attached by wicker and rattan hinges. The panel lifts open to reveal shelving space within. Great character. Good condition with some wear as shown. A fun and whimsical conversation piece for any interior.
