This striking antique writing table hails from the late 1800s and showcases the bold craftsmanship of the Spanish Renaissance Revival style. Crafted with intricate, high-relief carving throughout, the desk features a rectangular top edged in deep foliate trim, resting above three generously sized drawers. The trestle base is a masterpiece in itself, with a dramatic ox yoke design adorned by grotesque figural carvings and connected by an ornate wrought iron cross stretcher. The desk stands proudly on detailed paw feet. With some natural age separation to the top planks, this piece reflects its rich history while offering an extraordinary focal point for any library, study, or collector’s space.
