19th Century French Renaissance Leather Top Writing Table
About the Item
19th Century French Renaissance leather top writing table is perfect for adding an Old World touch to any room! Boldly carved edging around the tooled leather top is just the beginning, with fully carved apron wrapping around the entire perimeter making it a good choice for placement anywhere in the room. Gold foliates, rosettes and lions' heads are the themes, with turned pendant finials on each corner. Support is provided by four scrolled legs carved with lions' faces, combining with clockwise and counter-clockwise barley twist columns, a pair on each side, and a pair serving as trestles. Two spacious drawers provide convenience, with the leather top creating a sumptuous writing surface.
