A fine quality late 19th Century Satinwood Sheraton revival knee hole desk, having its original gilt tooled inset leather top, five graduated Mahogany lined drawers with carved giltwood parcel gilt decoration and their original ring-drop handles, dummy drawers to the reverse, the sides having quartered veneers to the panels, carved giltwood mounts and inset Jasper plaques depicting classical female figures. Raised on elegant square tapering legs united by a hooped stretcher
