About the Item
Dramatic opaque black acrylic sawhorse blacksmith desk or writing table designed by Alexandra Von Furstenberg. The bold desk features two A framed acrylic saw horse style supports topped with a black smoked pane of glass. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Could also serve as a dining table with a height of 29 inches. Commissioned by Samantha Todhunter Design, London for a historic 1916 Julia Morgan designed mansion in Presidio Heights San Francisco, CA. One of three matching desks available and ready to ship from our California warehouse. The desk is signed on the bottom of the leg by AVF design.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong, solid joinery and construction. Very good condition with very minor scuffs to finish and small chip on glass edge which is very difficult to see.

Alexandra Von Furstenberg is a Hong Kong-born, an American entrepreneur and furniture designer based in Los Angeles. She is the youngest daughter of American billionaire and DFS co-founder Robert Miller. Von Furstenberg was born on October 3, 1972, in British Hong Kong to American entrepreneur Robert Warren Miller and his Ecuadorian wife, María Clara. She has two older sisters Pia and Marie-Chantal. Von Furstenberg and her sisters grew up between Hong Kong, Paris and New York.
