Compact & Minimalist Home Desk Dex by Reinier de Jong
About the Item
Dex is an elegant and minimalist desk designed by Dutch designer Reinier de Jong. DEX is a compact desk that fits anywhere at home. The frame consists of two horizontal cross shapes of solid oak wood slats combined with the drawer unit. The frame has a minimal presence round the seat for optimal comfort. It makes it easy to swivel your chair sideways by the careful positioning of the frame. The drawer unit has three drawers. They can be pulled out entirely to provide a place for a printer which you can control without having to get up from your seat. The three colors of the drawer fronts are a wink to George Nelson's iconic midcentury home desk. The desk top is made from an extremely rigid material made up of alternating layers of high pressure laminate and aluminum.
