About the Item

Writing table or desk made of poplar in the french 18th century, Louis XV period. Height between the roof and the belt 20.87 in. (53 cm). Totally authentic, this piece of furniture was made in the 18th century, in a small provincial workshop. This explains all the special features of this table, in particular the lock and drawer, which bear witness to its age while remaining solid and sound. Sébastien, our junk shoper, fell in love with this rustic desk. Clearly he wasn't the only one, since a cabinetmaker has already reworked it by changing the legs. Some of the legs have been replaced by oak. Good antique condition. Shipping: 66 / 86 / 73 cm 18.2 Kg
