A George IV Chinese Amboyna Desk
About the Item
The shaped cornice above a fitted bureau-bookcase enclosed behind solid doors, the central desk drawer has a ratcheted writing slope and is flanked by three graduated drawers to each pedestal, all drawers have their original turned ebony handles, the base of the drawers showing Chinese lettered numbers, raised on ebony hairy lions paw feet.
Working locks with keys.
Handsome with a gently faded patina, unmolested throughout.
Breaks down to four sections for removal.
