GF Studios (Maker)
This desk was designed by a team of designers from Alcoa, GF Studios and Reynolds expressly for the Reynolds Metals Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. The building was designed by Gordon Bunshaft of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and is currently listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Bunshaft was a leading proponent of the International style of architecture.
GF Studios was a Division of General Fireproofing Company.
This exceptional desk features raised stripe fronts of alternating copper anodized and natural aluminum, supporting a white laminate top with recessed writing surface. Green tea anodized extruded aluminum frame and metal mesh modesty panel on front and side.

Excellent. Only minor age and use appropriate wear apart from a two inch spot where a soft corner edge of the white laminate took a bruise. Currently artfully concealed. We can if requested replace the entire laminate top and edge with the laminate or material.
