Late 19th Bureau Antique Cartonnier Sliding Top for Hidden Storage

About the Item

An Italian smaller-sized writing desk with storage hidden beneath top from the 19th century. This super cute desk, or occasional table from Italy, with simply lines. The top of this piece slides back across the top, revealing storage and open drawers for your letters. The table is raised on four squared legs with stylized knees, and gently taper towards their feet. If using as a desk, the leg clearance is approximately 23.25" in height.
