Majestic French Bureau Plat Desk According to Andre C. Boulle
About the Item
Root veneer on solid beech and oak. Extremely finely chiselled bronze. Three-wheeled frame base with wide knee-section on four cabriole legs with forward looking, imposing Espagnoletten / women's busts ending in Sabots. Medium drawer centred with a female mask escucheon, flanked by a bearded mask and drawers, the backside with simulated drawers, the sides each centred by a satyr mask.
