A fine and unusual Edwardian mahogany ladies leather top desk, with gorgeously rich patination and grain. Line inlaid, cross banded and with exquisite marquetry detail, depicting scrolling foliate and flowerhead motif detail throughout. The moulded upper section surmounted with curved 3/4 gallery rail with turned finial detail and centred sloping drawer with decorative pierced brass grille detail, opening to reveal a fitted interior. The moulded desk top below with curved canted corners is fitted with a gorgeous green gilt embossed tooled leather writing skiver surface, raised over frieze with single centred long drawer with decorative brass pulls.
