A Stylish and Unique Bauhaus Meets Industrial Desk, Circa 1940's/50's
About the Item
This stylish and highly functional desk was probably a one off commission, its rarity suggests so. It has a built in Bakelite switch that turns on the elegant angle poise light by Admel. The counterbalance moves smoothly around the desk wherever focus is needed. The desk has an X-frame construction and not only looks great but there is a real quality to the build. This is a self contained work station that has 4 metres of flex cord running from the desk to your nearest power point, all of which has been pat tested. This is a cool, versatile and unimposing piece of early 20th Century design.
