Wonderful 18th Century French Roll Top Desk ( cylinder bureau )
A very elegant and with great proportions, late 18th century French walnut and parquetry Cylinder bureau with chevron and checkered borders.
The lower part with drawers on tapered turned legs. The roll top opening to reveal a set of eight small drawers and two small doors, as well as a brushing / writing slide with a hidden compartment.
The top of the bureau with a set of five small drawers. This elegant and impressive bureau will make a statement in most rooms.
