Beautiful Art Deco Dining Room Set in Macassar from France around 1925.
The set consists of one expandable dining table and six chairs.
Wonderful Macassar ebony wood (dark red-brownish tone) veneered and lacquered in several layers of clear and black, high-gloss polished piano lacquer.
Veneered Gondola shaped leg on black lacquered plinth. Two stabilizing black polished legs when expanded, that can be folded under the plate. Two leaves / Inlay plates added with black piano lacquer and round edges (51 cm / 20.08" long, offer 2 more seats per side). Length closed: 167 cm / 65.75", expanded: 269 cm / 105.9 in)
The chairs have the same beautiful Macassar veneer on both sides of the backrest. The frame and legs are black lacquered. Newly upholstered with fine white velvet fabric.
Table and chairs are only available together as a group.
