Hand-crafted from solid walnut, the table presents a rectangular folding top with original metal hinges that pivots smoothly around a wooden dowel, extending to a generous 7’4” in length. Beneath the tabletop, a discreet storage compartment reflects the table’s original practical design. The piece is supported by tapered, hand-carved fluted legs with block capitals, showcasing the timeless refinement of the Louis XVI profile. The apron clearance measures 23.75 inches from floor to underside, allowing comfortable seating. This table has been structurally revised and carefully restored, ensuring stability while maintaining its authenticity. The surface has been gently polished, bringing out the naturally aged patina and warm walnut grain.
