About the Item

A classicist table with three monumental, full-plastic, hand carved dolphins made of solid wood. Scales colored, heads and fins are antique gold. Three-sided base plate on glass panes. Centrally ascending column, carved with leaves. Cover plate and base root veneer with beautiful patina and warm hue. This table can only be distinguished from the original from 1815 by an expert. For the hand carving of a single dolphin one would now pay a fortune and the form would then not be the same. This type can be found in international furniture. Here everything is handcrafted and is certainly a rarity. Beautiful patina, hand polished with shellac.
