About the Item
Late 19th/Early 20th Century Neoclassical style gilt-bronze-mounted dining table. The legs and base of the table are solid steel with bronze. The top is a green-painted or lacquered raffia-like surface. The top has scuffs and wear from normal use. The base and tapered legs have smudges and minor scratches, also from normal use. The two leaves are 22" each.
The table needs work as due to the weight (it is very heavy) it wobbles slightly and certainly would not be able to withstand the additional weight of the two leaves without the legs being more securely fitted. There is an extensive armature to the underside.
