A stunning, linear and elegant mid 20th Century ‘Dorrington’ extending rosewood dining table designed by Robert Heritage for Archie shine c. 1965. With gently tapering legs and slightly oversailing top with dark rosewood border. When extended the table comfortably seats eight people. Having a fabulous original colour without fade and vibrant grain to the rosewood top and with the original additional leaf which is a perfect colour match and which stores underneath the main table top when not in use. In excellent condition for age. Dimensions are: Width 167.5 cm Extends to 213cm Height 72.0 cm Depth 84.0 cm

The legs united by a substantial ring and bulb turned stretcher and the top with two hinged drop leaves which extend on iron flies.
