Round dining table in chromed and gilded steel by Banci Firenze, Italy 1970s
About the Item
Dining table in gilded & chromed steel, with a thick round smoked glass top.
Reminescent of the designs of Romeo Rega and Willy Rizzo, this table was produced by Banci Firenze in Italy around 1970, the steel base is very sturdy with a nice finish, the smoked glass top stability is ensured by small transparent rubber suction cups.
The table is well preserved despite its age, it shows some signs of use on the smoked glass top, some small scratches and a minor chip on the edge. The base was thoroughly cleaned with metal polish and is in good condition, only showing a bit of oxidation but mainly on the inner part, no bending or damage to the metal is to be noted.
