About the Item
Imposing minimalist round iron dining table or grand center table designed by Sally Sirkin Lewis for J. Robert Scott. The modern bespoke table measures 75 inches in diameter supported by a sculptural four sided base. The pedestal has gracefully curved contoured sides for a dramatic profile and has small hidden casters underneath. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The iron has an intentionally aged industrial patina on the finish with perfectly joined smooth seams. The round top measures 2 inches thick and is removable for moving and installation. Very impressive piece of functioning art from an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
