Vintage Country French Louis XV Style Extending Dining Table
About the Item
An elegant country French Louis XV style carved oak expandable dining table from the early/mid 20th century.
This Louis XV draw-leaf table features two pullout leaves that rest under the top when not in use and slide out with ease when needed. Having an exquisite geometric parquetry top with serpentine curved molded edge, over a scalloped shaped apron with hand-carved shell details, elegantly rising on acanthus carved knee cabriole legs ending in scroll whorl feet. circa 1930
This lovely table is in excellent condition, having beautiful nicely aged patina and rich antique oak glow. It's strong, sturdy, stable and ready to be your standout dining piece for many years to come.

A stunning, fine quality vintage French gilt bronze ormolu mounted marquetry inlaid rosewood extension dining table by J.P. Ehalt.
Exquisitely handcrafted using only the finest materials and highest level of craftsmanship, the mid-century antique reproduction lavishly finished in Neoclassical Louis XVI taste, having an extensively inlaid oval shaped top, richly decorated marquetry at the center features intricate floral motif, wonderfully designed and exceptionally executed built-in hide-a-way extension leaves that rest under the table in the manner of Maison Jansen, sliding out to extend the length of the table from 72 to 107 inches. The frieze luxuriously decorated with gilt bronze mounted running ornamentation with beaded trim, accented by stylized foliate gilded bronze embellishments, above fluted tapered legs. Signed J.P.
