19th Century Swedish Pine Drop Leaf Table with Two Drawers
About the Item
There is wonderful aged charisma to this drop leaf gate leg table with two drawers and stretcher base. It can serve as a side table, work table or be raised to create a unique kitchen island.
Note the brick red painted finish of the base has been distressed and worn down to the natural pine below, creating a warm aged patina. Main top is all natural pine, leaf top when raised shows off the old red finish.
When closed, the table is 56.25” wide yet it expands to 84.5" wide when single leaf is fully opened.
This pine table has been restored, it is sturdy and ready to use and enjoy.
Please examine the close up photos to appreciate the aged patina of the wood; old scratches, nicks, stains and marks mix with the wood grain adding depth of character.
All scratches, cracks, dings, nicks and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this versatile table.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
